Touring productions of various shows, including our flagship show, Talley's Folly, are now available for libraries, schools, senior centers, community centers, or religious organizations.  With 2-4 actors, running times of approximately 90 minutes, and messages about tolerance, history, and love, these plays travel well!

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

 

GRAPHIC NOVELS - Students will learn how to create a graphic novel. The workshop will take them through brainstorming, structuring, and drawing a graphic novel or comic book. Students will also examine the history of the genre and examples of some of the bestselling books.

 

SHAKESPEAREAN FUN - Get students involved with Shakespeare through this active and interactive workshop that shows them Shakespeare doesn't have to be hard or boring.  Ages 10-Adult.

 

POETRY POWER - students will learn the power of poetry through presenting their own poems.  Beginning with an introduction to slam and performance poetry, students will learn to develop their own poems and present them powerfully.  Ages 12-18.

 

 

WORKSHOPS

​

IMPROV – Beginning with simple improvised acting exercises, students will develop confidence and performance skills.  Through games that are fun to do and entertaining to watch, the group will create scenes and learn acting basics.  Available for all ages.

 

PUBLIC SPEAKING – Give your group the opportunity to learn the basics of public speaking.  Voice, posture, eye contact, delivery, gestures, and speech-writing will be covered.  Students will have the chance to participate throughout and by the end of the workshop will be able to give a short presentation.  Available for all ages.  

 

GETTING STARTED IN AUDIOBOOKS – This is for anyone who has ever wanted to record audiobooks. Taught by a narrator/producer, participants will learn about equipment, auditioning, and vocal techniques. Each student will have the chance to practice reading an audition piece or demo. Available for adults.

 

STAND-UP COMEDY – Groups will learn the basics of stand-up comedy from stand-up performers.  These instructors will discuss how to be funny, how to make an audience laugh, and how to present.  Participants will have an opportunity to try out their material at the end.  Available for ages 14-adult.

 

PLAY- & SCREENWRITING – This workshop will cover finding ideas, structuring plays and screenplays, formatting scripts, writing, revising, and marketing a script.  Available for ages 12 and up.
